Painted Tree
Blue Water Design Studios’ new boutique just opened in Sugar Land, Texas at the Painted Tree. So many décor items to see and touch. Visit today from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Painted Tree is a nationwide company. Previously, I had wanted to partner with a shop in Pearland. But, after looking at logistics, it did not make sense. I also tried a weekend at the local mall. While it was inside, it’s such a hassle to set up and break down. It ended up not being worth my time. I also set up a table outside and it was a hassle to set up and break down.
Closer Location
I needed something closer to home and my son’s school. Painted Tree Sugar Land is the perfect solution!
I chose a 6′ x 8′ space. This gives me six months to grow and opt for a larger space in the future. There are different sizes to suit your needs. Click here for more rental space info.
The 8′ wide wall in the back ended up measuring 9′-5″. So, we had to recalculate our picket fence calculation. Also, the side walls were only built out to 3′-9″. So, Trey (DH) and Matt built out 8’ high x 2′ wide walls. This was completed in less than two days.
I am super excited to have a physical space as all of my business previously had been online.
My DH and Matt were gracious enough to assist with building and installing the picket fence and two 8′ tall x 2′ wide walls.
Trey is holding the cedar fence pickets as Matt secures it to the wall. The fence pickets were hard to find as most fence pickets had been shipped over to southern Louisiana because of Hurricane Laura and Hurricane Delta.
Thank goodness no one had moved into the space where Matt was drilling as we needed access. In the end, it all worked out beautifully! But, I was stressed out to the max trying to get this all completed before Opening Day!
Now this empty space was completed with fence pickets and 8′ tall x 2′ wide side walls. The 4′ high pickets will now give me 12′ high walls to hang art and my business sign.
Piping Shelves
With the help of 3 Ace Hardware stores and an online order from Home Depot, I purchased these 3/4″ steel piping shelves. They were spray painted white and the elbows and tees were painted gold. Thanks to my little sister, Becky, for the inspiration!

There is so many gift ideas to see.
I must find some books to place in between the whale bookends. There is a blue version of the whale bookends and a white version. Which is your favorite?
This seahorse pillow is too fun!
The “hello gorgeous” pillow would be a great addition to your guest bedroom. Hotel ZaZa had a pillow in their chair with this saying on it. I also update my condo in Navarre Beach, Florida aka The Great Escape a couple of times a year.
The three set flamingo pouch is a great gift idea. Buy one for a friend and one for yourself!
